Once again, Chris Gibbs and UNION bring a fresh, vintage-inspired twist to a Jordan Brand design. For the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 2, UNION has taken a sleek silhouette and updated it with a host of new premium details in a subtle fog grey colorway. Using fabrics from its history in streetwear culture, the rebellious upper combines multiple materials to striking effect: durable canvas and premium suede. To add an innovative and colorful twist to a classic model, the suede mid-panel features perforations in place of the AJ2’s lizard-textured leather for a classic Equator Blue detail. A customizable Jumpman tongue tag is placed alongside a sample-label-inspired woven UNION label and a UNION lace loop.
